Abstract Art "Drachen 6" by Irena Vezin
Abstract Art
This art piece is a nice piece of abstract art. I like the way it looks like many different things inside the black paint. At times i can a persons face, other times it looks like a hand grabbing something, then sometimes it just looks like someone through black paint on yellow.
The black on yellow paint gives a great contrasting affect, both colors make the other stand out. and then the little bit of red paint added gives it just a bit more a dark sinister appearance.
When i look at this painting everything seems to be menacing. its almost like the dark is polluting the light.

NIghtmares, Dreams and other thoughts
So now that we have begun to work on the next project i've been thinking of different things that i could use to develop my own imaginary setting.
I think that I will continue to try and develop my picture of an alien planet. Ive gotten much of the initial stuff picked out. Using digital images of mars and are own planet, and a picture of space i think i managed to come close to to making a believable interstellar environment.
The problem has arrisen of trying to add some sort of civilization to the environment. I want to add a believe space colony to the the image, But i dont know how to approach it. I want a sort of futuristic space station, but i dont know how exactly to form it.

D210 Intro blog: My Influences
Well my name is josh and im from Indiana. There are many things that influence me. Music and art have always been a big influence. I find a lot of influence has come from music that i have liscened to. Bands like Pink Floyd, Ben Harper, John Butler have all had an impact on me.
I've also been influenced through the years by cartoons and comics. Ive always liked the simple animations and the story that can be told in many disney, pixar, cartoon network or any other animation company's. Pixar has had a deep impact on me and my desire to work in the animations field. The way the company works and how well they can make a childrens movie and still attract anyone to their movies.
